About Neermulli Seed (Gokulakanta / Marsh Barbel Seed):-

The Marsh Barbel is native to the Indian subcontinent, including Nepal and Sri Lanka.It also called Temple Plant in english. It is a member of the Acanthaceae family and as the name suggests, likes to live in wet places. It can grow to 2 metres high or more, and has blue-purple flowers, with upper and lower “lips”. These flowers look a little like violas, or wild pansies.Marsh Barbel used in traditional medicine for the treatment of various disorders.

நீர் முள்ளி மருத்துவ பயன்

1. நீர் முள்ளியின் சமூலத்தை (முழுச் செடி) கஷாயம் செய்து தினமும் குடித்து வந்தால் உடல் சோர்வு நீங்கி புத்துணர்வு கிடைக்கும்

2. சிறுநீரகக் கல் அடைப்பு உள்ளவர்கள் இந்தக் கஷாயத்தை காலை மாலை என அருந்தி வந்தால் கல் கரைந்து சிறுநீருடன் வெளியேறி விடும்

3. நீர் முள்ளியுடன் திரிபலாச் சூரணம் சேர்த்து கஷாயம் செய்து குடித்து வந்தால் மலச்சிக்கல் பிரச்னை சரியாகும்.

4. வாயுக்களின் சீற்றத்தாலும் செரிமானக் கோளாறுகளாலும் ஏற்படக்கூடிய வயிற்றுப்புண்ணைக் குணப்படுத்த இதன் இலைகளைக் கஷாயம் செய்து குடித்து வந்தால் பலன் கிடைக்கும்.

7. இதன் விதையைப் பொடியாக்கி ஒரு வேளைக்கு அரை கிராம் முதல் ஒரு கிராம் வரை பாலில் கலந்து சாப்பிட்டு வந்தால் வயிற்றுப்போக்கு, நீர் கோத்தல், இரைப்பிருமல், மேக நோய் போன்றவற்றைக் குணப்படுத்துவதுடன் ரத்தத்தைச் சுத்திகரித்து ஆண்களுக்கு உயிரணு ஊறச் செய்யும்.

8. நீர் முள்ளி விதையை ஐந்து விரலால் அள்ளும் அளவு எடுத்து இரவில் ஒரு செவ்வாழைப் பழத்தின் உள்ளே வைத்து விட வேண்டும். அதை மறுநாள் காலை வெறும் வயிற்றில் மென்று சாப்பிட வேண்டும். இப்படி 30 நாள்கள் தொடர்ந்து சாப்பிட்டால் தாது பலப்பட்டு தாம்பத்யம் சிறக்க உதவும். இதேபோல் அமுக்கராங் கிழங்கு, ஓரிதழ் தாமரை, பூனைக்காலி விதை, ஜாதிக்காய், தண்ணீர்விட்டான் கிழங்கு மற்றும் நீர் முள்ளி விதை அனைத்தையும் சம அளவு எடுத்துத் தூளாக்கி கோலிக்குண்டு வருமளவு எடுத்து தேனுடன் கலந்து காலை மாலை சாப்பிட்டு வந்தால் ஆண்மை பலம் கிடைக்கும்.
